Human Resources Generalist

 The HR Generalist, Employee Engagement (HRG) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The successful HRG acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRG seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. 

This position reports to the Manager of Talent & Employee Engagement


  • Work closely with business units to develop programs to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover
  • Participate in weekly/monthly meetings with respective business units and employees 
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions and programs
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Develop and launch employee engagement programs
  • Conduct new hire orientation as required; ensure new hire data is entered in a timely manner
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Provide recruiting support as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business/Management or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years HR experience; manufacturing industry preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Hands-on attitude; proactive mindset
  • Experience with new hire orientation and employee engagement programs
  • Must be able to travel locally and some domestic locations as needed
